Purchasing running shoes?
Go to a professional. They have tons of advice. Often they will tell you to go up a size to accommodate impact. They will measure you and ask you questions to determine what kind of support you best need. Not seeing a professional can result in foot problem if you are half way serious about your run. Remember to replace your running shoes ever six months or 500 miles. You should have more than one pair of running shoes and keep them in rotation. This gives your shoes time to air and is better for your feet.
