We made it through another holiday season.
Congratulations to all of us.
We may now be fatter and poorer than a month ago but, we are optimistic.
January is a time for renewal. We review how the past year went for us. It is time to change what we did not like or make goals for what we would like to happen.
So, take the time to make your list of what you would like to work on the most. Be realistic when you set your goals and map out how you are going to meet them. Setting goals that are too high could make you feel worse when you fail to meet them. We are after all, human.
If you do have some extra money left to burn (yep, after paying $3/gallon for gas, the cable bill, the cell bill, the holiday gift bill, and everything else) be sure to check out those sales over the next couple of weeks. They will really heat up. 50% off just won't do it any more. Look for those big %'s off sales!
This is a good month to get that winter coat and linens. Also, if you have the storage space, stock up on what you'll need for the 2008 holiday season. The best part about this isn't necessarily the sale but, not having to run out in December to buy everything.
Happy Leap Year as well!
Check back soon.
