Eco-Fashions

We are going organic in what we wear.
Converting your wardrobe to green is so much more than wearing just organic cotton.
It means wearing bamboo and soy silks and fleece made from plastic soda pop bottles.

Fabrics like organic wool and recycled Polartec fleece are now being used by designers. Some high-end designers and stores like Barney's are putting an emphasis on these friendly products.

Eco fashion designers use environmentally sensitive fabrics and also responsible production techniques. The nonprofit Sustainable Technology Education Project (STEP) defines eco-fashions as clothes “that take into account the environment, the health of consumers and the working conditions of people in the fashion industry.”
