Spring fashion is around the corner.

With winter in full swing and the holiday season behind us, many us us are starting to think about spring.

We hear that the color blue is coming back as are the nautical and peasant looks.

Spring fashion trends as determined by Fashion Week:

• What's In: Thin belts, head scarves, knee length pencil skirts, sequins, metallics, silk jersey and chiffon, hats, clutches, orange, rose, lavender, green and finally, silver is the new neutral.

• What's Out: Wicker and raffia shoes, ultra short skirts and shorts, peasant skirts, jersey knits, babydoll dresses, lots of black and/or other dark colors and loud geometric prints.

Somethings may never be out, at least in the short term. A nice looking sweat suit will get you far in the world of leisure. Some believe that there is still hope for the skinny jean- when tucked in to boots. The key for finding the most flattering skinny jeans: look for fabrics that stretch.One thing is for sure- the trend of allowing your mid section to get noticed due to super low denim is long gone. As are the thong underwear that enabled the look.
